Vivek Mittal
Professor, Harvard University USA, USA.

Vivek Mittal, an internationally recognized cancer researcher is the Ford-Isom Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery, and the Director of the Neuberger Berman Lung Cancer Laboratory. His group is actively engaged in understanding mechanisms of tumor progression and metastasis. Dr. Mittal and colleagues have published seminal papers describing the critical role of the tumor microenvironment in primary tumor growth, initiation of metastasis and development of micrometastasis to life threatening macrometastases. Previously, Dr. Mittal held appointments in the faculties of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and State University of New York, Stony Brook. He lectures widely to diverse audiences throughout the world and has been published in leading journals including Science, Nature, Nature Cancer, Cancer Cell, PNAS, and other leading peer-reviewed journals and text books. His research is supported by funds from the National Cancer Institute (NCI), Department of Defense (DOD) and private foundations, and several national and international patents have emerged from his discoveries.

Alan Wang
Associate Professor, University of Auckland, New Zealand.

Alan Wang is a principal investigator and Associate Professor at University of Auckland. He has more than ten years of research experience in bioengineering informatics and integrated medicine, especially in advancing the role of medical informatics in health care. He has developed advanced data analytics methods for intelligent health and personalized diagnosis and prognosis based on signal processing and machine learning theories. He has experience analyzing huge cohorts of data with applications of early diagnosis, disease understanding, and effective treatment of patients with different disorders. He serves as an Editorial Board Member and an Active Reviewer for several international journals.

Peixin Dong
Researcher, Hokkaido University, Japan.

Dr. Dong Peixin is interested in the epigenetic and genetic mechanisms that underpin cancer stem cells, EMT, chemoresistance, and cancer metastasis. Dr. Dong has developed expertise via more than 70 papers in international journals. Dr. Dong is an Associate Editor for the journals Frontiers in Pharmacology, Frontiers in Oncology, BMC Cancer, Journal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, and Current Gene Therapy. Dr. Dong is also a member of the Editorial Boards of Clinical & Experimental Metastasis, PLOS ONE, Genes, Biomolecules, Bioengineered, Chinese Clinical Oncology, and Gynecology and Pelvic Medicine. Dr. Dong has earned several awards for his contributions to the field.
